MUSEUM QUALITY VICTORIAN Egyptian Revival Antique Finger Purse

You will probably never find a finger purse like this again! This is a Victorian era Egyptian Revival purse that came from Great Britain, with highly detailed and ornate scenes depicted on both front and back. The purse measures about 3 1/4 x 3 inches and is made of a black matte enamel or a material I am not familiar with. It is very solid and hard. The scenes are inlaid and possibly bronze or brass, for all I know, they could be gold. I have never seen such painstaking detail in these scenes as you can tell in the photos. Please enlarge them to get all the details! The finger purse has about a 5 1/2 inch chain and one large loop to be held by a finger. The inside is a multi colored cotton and looks like it has never been used. The cotton is still stiff and the colors remain bright. This is a true treasure for the discerning collector and would make a very special gift!
